well it has not been a fun day so far. Weather here is lousy, foggy, cloudy, dreary, etc.
As most of you know I battled breast cancer last year & won. I had a lumpectomoy done the 33 treatments of radiation. The first of Decemeber I woke up one morning & went to the bathroom- noticed I was bleeding & passing clots, come to find out this is a side effect of the Tamoxifen. which it thickens the uterus. So I had to have a DNC done. finally stopped bleeding after about a week. Then guess what happened today.
I woke up bleeding again, so now I am waiting to hear from my OB/GYN dr. to see what he is going to do this time. Hopefully a full hysteromoy & be done with it once & for all. Then they will have to switch me to something other than tamoxifen, but oh well, I can live with that. Being a breast cancer patient I have to be careful with what I can take. NO HORMONES what so ever. NO BIRTH CONTROL PILLS either. Just suffer through the night sweets & hot flashes. I have more of the night sweets than anything else. They have put me on effexer(SP?) they have had to up the dosage of it. NOw it seems to be working. The night sweets aren't as bad, but I still have them.
