Finally Friday & Olympics are starting

Finally... it's Friday.. didn't think it was going to get here this week.
& opening ceremonies for the Olympics are starting today!!!!!! So is my challenge.
Let's see how far I can make it.
The kids are going to Hickory NC for the weekend to see COlton's (other) Grandma. I know they are going to have a wonderful time with him. This will be his 1st ROAD TRIP!! He is just growing so much.
I also this weekend am going to try & clean my room (it is so messy)- crafts are everywhere. Went yesterday to Lowe's & bought me a 2 drawer shelf to put under the card table so I can put somethings inside while I am working on projects. So everything is NOT on the table, floor or my bed at all times. lol
Have a great weekend, will post pix of ornamnets soon!!!!!!

Blog Hop #6

Some of us have a favorite chair that we sit in to stitch, others prefer to enjoy a steaming mug of tea while they stitch. Maybe you need to get comfortable and put on your pajamas before you pick up your needle or you simply must rearrange all the sofa pillows before you sit down. Sometimes the ritual is in the clean up when we’re done and everything must go in a certain place. What sort of stitching rituals do you have when you sit down to work on your projects?

I have to be very comfortable, which usually means pilling up pillows on my bed. Then I have to have my tray beside me which holds extra needles, pencils, scissors etc. then on the other side I have a floor pillow where I keep the pattern (easier to see& closer to me). Usually I am watching TV or DVD's while stitching.
Then when I am done stitching for the day, I do have to put everything back in its place, if I don't the cats will try & stitch for me. lol.

Blog hop #5

Do you find yourself stitching seasonally or do you just stitch what moves you at the moment? What’s your favorite holiday or season to stitch for?

I love stitching for Halloween & Christmas.
although the stitching & more decorating for Halloween has been in the last 5 years or so.
Christmas is always done big in our house(Rhonda & David's that is) to tell you how much decor we have for x-mas 1/2 of the building is for x-mas. I know have 3 trees. 1 is nothing but homemade ornamnets on. 1 in our bedroom & 1 in the den. I really believe that every room has a tree in it though.(smaller ones in other rooms)
