monday again

here it is monday again. what a day 1st day of SUMMER YEAH!!!!!!!!
Hope all had a great weekend. for the most part we did. alas David had to work on Father's Day... but he will be off today.
We went to memaw's for lunch on Sunday-- delicious as always.
I got a pix of DC & Memaw together. he is in his BDU's . He will be leaving next Sunday morning to go to leadership training. he wil be gone for a week.
Here in NC we have been 90 or higher for 11 days now, & no end in sight. today is supposed to be 96, with more on the way for the next 7 days. So it truely is summer time in the south.
I got up yesterday & today around 5am.(helping DC getting used to getting up early- which is not an easy task mind you -- he is in vacation modeLOL) yesterday moring I started doing some stitching on something new. From X's & O's 'I didn't say it was your fault I said I was going to blame you.'
I got 'I didn't say done'. will work on more this afternoon & evening though it is stitching fairly quickly. easy to stitch, I think that is what I needed to get me back into the swing of things. I haven't been doing anything 'crafty' lately. I need to get some things done.
