Happy Easter

Well I hope all have had a Happy Easter. I know we did.
being off on Friday was so nice. I got some seeds in soil . 1 flat of tomatoes & 1 cucumber. some peppers & watermelon also planted. I had to repot the aloe plant my memaw had given me. it made it through the winter in my laundry room.

Saturday was much busier though
it was in the high 70's low 80's but aleast we had some cloud cover. so the sun was beating down & hot. the wind was also blowing too. the reason I say that is because we went to the building to crank the riding mower & she would not start. We took the battery out & had it tested luckly it could be charged( bad news it had to charge for 24 hrs) . A new one was gonna cost $40.00. So David & I decided we would push mow the yard-- took a whole lot longer. but the upside lots of excerise LOL
D also rakes up piles of leaves in the back yard & put into the ditch-- or my compost pile as we call it.
One time when we went inside the cats got into our room, no big deal (usually). but remember what happened 2 weeks ago.. happened again. Sparta- our lovely cat pissed in the bed again, this time he also got my pillows too. so many more loads of laundry to be done.
much less we still had to get our showers, fix supper, dye easter eggs. not much else got done on Sat.
Sunday was Easter.
we went to memaw's house & ate lunch & hunter easter eggs. the kids sure had a good time. Bad thing it was 82 degrees outside. hot, but not complaining. as it was soooo cold here this winter.
at 2:30 am sun morning my sis-in-law Kathy woke us up to let us know ewok(other cat) was under the couch having babies.. we could only see 3 at first. but later in the morning -- 9AM or so. we could see much better, she had 6 kittens--- so we will be giving them away as soon as they are weined from mammma(Ewok)
